Smaller consignments will be sent as a part / shared load. With a part load you are sharing part of a large shipping container with other customers and pay only for the space you require. please see picture below . All your items will be kept separately and inventoried.
Our Uk collection crew will collect the consignment and it will be brought back to our main warehouse and be loaded on the next container. Part load collections can take anything from half an hour to a few hours depending your volume and packing requirements. We do advise that you try and keep a full day clear for your removal in the event of any unexpected delays.
Larger moves e.g., full house may require a sole use container. This is a container to be used exclusively with your goods. If there are no access restrictions the crew will load the container at your residence over a 2-4 day period depending on the size of your required container .
The first stage involves working out the volume of your removal, packing requests, any special requirements i.e. pianos , high end pieces.
There are several ways we can do this over the telephone ,by email and for larger consignments we can send out our home surveyor so that you can discuss everything face to face.
When it comes to packing for an international removal we recommend that our highly trained crew carry this out . Thus Giving you complete piece of mind . Furniture will be export wrapped and any high end/ fragile items can be crated and remember we only use the highest standard of packing materials . If you have any concerns about certain pieces or unusual items eg piano to be shipped please mention this with your move manager.
